While I'm into this now... M.A.G. has been reviewed by Destructoid... check out their article about it. It's quite interesting how makers of SOCOM and Planetside are making PS3's "Massive Action Game" and how it's development is progressing.

Gamesharing on Playstation 3 is illegal

Basicly. If you have downloaded games and addons from PSN and "share" them by giving your PSN account name and password then you have broken law. You also break the law if your friend uses your account to download games and to use one of the five activation keys Sony has provided for personal use (cases where your PS3 brokes and you have to activate new one inorder to play games).
And talk about problems... This is all commonsense, not giving away your passwords to anyone. Why people claim this being fully legal when it's clear it is not.

Playstation 3, 2.42 Update, Youtube and Internet Browser
After I downloaded 2.42 and applied it successfully I went to watch youtube using PS3 Internet browser. After watching 2-4 (about 10 minute long) films it crashes whole PS3 system and has to be restarted using power switch.
I belive that this is bug since it has happened to me like 3 times in a row now. And I've tried googling on this matter but nothing really came up. So I am asking from you guys now that are you able to watch videos from Youtube just like normally for a long perioids?
I know that when 2.40 and 2.41 came I started having lots of these "memory running out, please close pages" and "because of the limited memory page was replaced with blank/white page" and etc. notices. So what the heck is problem because 256MB is ought to be enought for a freaking PS3 games like MGS4 but not for a simple www-browser when watching youtube...
I think that if Sony would pull off AppleTV like Youtube front end for PS3 it would be really cool. I really enjoy watching my films using PS3 as a streaming device and Youtube is important part of that experience. I suppose that either fixing browser or making youtube frontend happen would not be hard task. :P

Console Wars, Ready? Set? GO!
I'm 4channer. And this was writen to 4chan's video games thread. I found it very good... at putting some flames to xbox owners asses. I'm my self Playstation 3 owner and I did my decision by first playing both of the platforms. I came to inclusion that Wii is the best for gaming, Playstation 3 for multimedia, and Xbox360 is middle runner without reliablity. My friend broke his xbox already and we went with my car to fix that box but in the end my friend sold his xbox and games and is now just windows platform gamer. Ironic? Yes maybe.
But back into that 4chan comment. I found this really thoughtful. It was writen by anonymous but I'd sign this text right away.
"why are first party/exclusive PS3 games, excluding gears of war, technically superior to those on xbox, despite 360 having a year head start?
why does 360 have a huge external PSU, sound like a jet taking off, yet still have overheating related hardware failures?
do you enjoy the battery pack on the back of the wireless 360 controller? Do you like having to pay extra to be able to recharge it through the console, rather than just using a standard usb cable?
do you enjoy having your discs scratched?
do you like having the option of a non-functioning d-pad?
do you like the fact that a 20gb hdd on a 360 is actually 13gb? do you like that developers aren't allowed to incorporate hard drive use due to it not being standard?

Well, maybe it's not the most poetic and fails to note that some of the listed problems have been fixed already...
I could add that xbox can playback HD material but only with 250 euros external HD-DVD drive. And since HD-DVD is seriously losing now (in here I've only seen 2 movies of HD-DVD on stores but more than 20 titles of Blue-Ray.)
Xbox costs 200-400 euros. when we do the math, to get the xbox360 with same features as Playstation 3 price is a lot higher than 500 euros.

I think Windows Vista (NT6.0) should be compared to Windows 2000 (NT5.0) and Windows 98ME instead of comparing it to Windows XP or into Windows 2003...
It just makes much more sence when we have this new technology built like just year ago and let's be honest, every new software has it's problems. But soon there will be Windows Server 2008 and with it I hope we can see what kind of performance we can have with it underhood from NT6.0 series.
Windows Vista is what it is and we cannot but to pray that with future updates it will perform at least that 110% faster which Windows XP does perform by studies done lately. (check out osnews.com for more information about that thing.)
