After I downloaded 2.42 and applied it successfully I went to watch youtube using PS3 Internet browser. After watching 2-4 (about 10 minute long) films it crashes whole PS3 system and has to be restarted using power switch.
I belive that this is bug since it has happened to me like 3 times in a row now. And I've tried googling on this matter but nothing really came up. So I am asking from you guys now that are you able to watch videos from Youtube just like normally for a long perioids?
I know that when 2.40 and 2.41 came I started having lots of these "memory running out, please close pages" and "because of the limited memory page was replaced with blank/white page" and etc. notices. So what the heck is problem because 256MB is ought to be enought for a freaking PS3 games like MGS4 but not for a simple www-browser when watching youtube...
I think that if Sony would pull off AppleTV like Youtube front end for PS3 it would be really cool. I really enjoy watching my films using PS3 as a streaming device and Youtube is important part of that experience. I suppose that either fixing browser or making youtube frontend happen would not be hard task. :P
